Annual Cruise 2011
July 30th to August 7th

For the 2011 cruise it is proposed to go through the Cape Cod Canal to Provincetown and back. This week has been chosen to make best use of the tides for passing through the canal. Some members of Jamestown Yacht Club will also join the cruise.

As this is a busy time of year it will probably be necessary to reserve moorings. If you plan to join the cruise there is a sign up sheet on the club notice board. Please contact Winston Knight (wknight30@cox.net), who will try to find out the availability of moorings.

Itinerary

July 30th (Sat.) Jamestown to Cuttyhunk 24 miles ( Town moorings or commercial moorings outside the harbor)

July 31st (Sun.) Cuttyhunk to Onset 25 miles (moorings from Onset Bay Marina (508-273-0357) or Point Independence Yacht Club (508-295-3972))

Aug 1st (Mon.) Onset to Provincetown 35 miles (moorings from Flyer’s Boat Shop (508-487-0518) or Provincetown Marina (508-487-0571))

Aug 2nd (Tue.) Provincetown

Aug 3rd (Wed.) Provincetown

Aug. 4th (Thu.) Provincetown

Aug. 5th (Fri.) Provincetown to Red Brook Harbor 35 miles (moorings from Kingman Yacht Center (508-563-7136) or Parker’s Boat Yard (508-563-9366))

Aug.6th (Sat.) Red Brook Harbor to Cuttyhunk 20 miles

Aug. 7th (Sun.) Cuttyhunk to Jamestown 24 miles

Mooring Reservations

Each cruise participant will be responsible for reserving their own moorings. Moorings are currently available as follows:

Each of these requires a credit card to reserve the moorings, with a full refund if cancelled more than 48 hours before the date.
