Blue Water Tennis is a Summer highlight event for adults featuring a round-robin handicapped tennis tournament in the morning, followed by a special lunch at the clubhouse and a non-spinnaker PHRF yacht race at in the afternoon. A day of extremely fun sporting socialization between sailors and tennis
players regardless of their ability.
Over 50 folks of all levels of inability took to the tennis courts on beautiful Sunday the 5th for a wild round robin, 3-match tournament to begin the Blue Water Tennis day.
At noon, the gaggle of sneakered players, with team Godzilla in the lead, regrouped at the club for lunch and then off on "Bruce B" to six yachts for an equally enjoyable non-spinnaker race to glory.

The inaugural Commodore's Regatta was sailed in a light southerly breeze last Saturday, August 23. The regatta started with the Great Pursuit Race and was immediately followed by the Clingstone Cup Race.
In spite of a threat of showers for the day and light winds in the
afternoon, the players came pouring in. A record 6 teams and 46
participants this year!

Blue Water Tennis has become one of the Summer's highlight events. A fabulous opportunity to enjoy a casual round-robin doubles tennis tournament in the morning, a special social lunch at the club, a fun non-spinnaker PHRF yacht race in the afternoon and a small awards ceremony on the deck afterward.
This event was designed to blend the sports and provide a day of enormous fun regardless of participants' abilities in the two sports.
