Paddle courts are scheduled in 1-1/2 hour intervals beginning at 9:00 am (9, 10:30, 12, 1:30, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30). No play is allowed and lights must be out after 9:00 pm. Sneakers must be worn at all times. Hut door combination is 4-2-3, 1 being the top button. Snow removal by club personnel only. Use court heaters to remove ice or light snow only. No chemicals of any kind on courts. Respect the courts; spin paddles in your hand and avoid excess bouncing off screens. Be sure to shut court doors when leaving. Sign in all guests. Maximum two plays per month for same guest. Guest fees - $10/day per person. Please sign a chit for guest fees.
Please drive slowly and abide by all posted speed and traffic signs coming and going from the courts. The posted speed limit in the Shoreby Hill neighborhood is 15 mph.
House Rules
Cell phone use is prohibited on the tennis and platform courts and in the tennis hut. Cell phone use is only permitted in the parking lot.
No dogs are allowed on any Club premises (except when being escorted on a leash by a member to and from a boat).
Membership numbers must be signed when using chits. Please know and use your correct number.
Platform Tennis Instruction
FREE Rookie and Advanced Clinics - Oct 13
Rookie clinics will focus on basic strokes, equipment, scoring and more - begins at 12 noon. Advanced clinics will include a stroke refresher and strategy - begins at 1:30 pm. All arrangements and payment must be made directly with the instructor; the CYC will not bill for platform tennis lessons.

CYC's 2007-2008 Paddle Season formally kicks off at 12 noon on Oct 13 with free clinics and lunch. Rookie clinics at noon. Advanced clinics at 1:30pm. Pre-Turkey Day Scramble for Parson's Cup - Nov 17-18
CYC's premier paddle event is a Mixed Doubles scrambles with teams separated into 2 flights. Dinner Party Saturday night. Teams are guaranteed three matches on Saturday, with semis and finals on Sunday. Sign up sheet at the Hut.
Women's Invitational - Jan 12
Ladies round-robin event. Players from outside clubs will be invited. Lunch provided. Snow date Jan 13.
Men's Invitational - Mar 30
One-day men's event. Players from outside clubs will be invited.

To reserve a court:
1. Click on the time, date and the court you would like to reserve. You can only reserve a court one week in advance and up until three hours before you are scheduled to play.
2. Type your name in the space “Your Name”
3. Type “platform” under “Enter Password”
4. Click “Update Reservation”
To cancel a reservation:
1. Go to the day where you want to cancel a reservation and click on “Show Control Panel”
2. Type your name in the space “Your Name”
3. Select the time and court reserved
4. Click “Cancel Court”
5. Type “platform” under “Enter Password”
6. You can also cancel regularly scheduled or “Booked” time for a particular week. This will not effect subsequent booked time in the Scheduler.
To cancel a booked reservation:
1. Go to the day where you want to cancel a reservation and click on “Show Control Panel”
2. Type “Booked” in the space “Your Name”
3. Select the time and court reserved
4. Click “Cancel Court”
5. Type “platform” under “Enter Password”
6. This court time will now be available for general use until the following week’s schedule appears.Note: Please be sure to enter name, select court time and court number, otherwise the reservation or cancellation will not take place.
