The local Shellback fleet continued their weekend racing on Sunday at the club. The weather was perfect, except for the light breeze which oscillated from the NE to NW before it disappeared altogether. Three races for the six boats were held prior to the calm. Individual race winners were Amo Ross, Garry Fischer and John Quinn. Amo Ross was the clear winner of the day's racing. The balance of the fleet was closely bunched in the day's scoring. The day's order of finishing for this group follows: John Quinn, Doc Clarke, Garry Fischer, Joe Logan, and Michael Brown. Dick Allphin and George Rice ran the races from the loaned CMS inflatable.

Shellback racing will continue on weekends until early June when the facilities will be needed for the CYC Junior Sailing program.
